A solo exhibition in the basement annexe of Regency Town House in September 2017.
A collection of works in different media that describe and remember an old house in the North of England. A conversation between that solitary 17th Century farmhouse set in the midst of desolate moorland, and the chilly servants’ rooms of the 18th century town house, both places layered with the traces of past lives and recent ones.
The whole exhibition created a journey through a series of atmospheric spaces using light and sound as well as objects, paintings, photographs, and videos of performance. See a video tour on vimeo.
